Stranger Still

There were over 100 people packed in the venue which was as described, a cafe/bar. The sound was a far
stretch from the superb acoustics of Quebec City or Montreal but ambiance made up for it. Among the crowd
was the Happy Clapper who passed out in Toronto, but he seemed to be on his best behaviour.

The performance was solid, but I think after much travel, fatigue did set in. That said, Peter has really been
accommodating during this tour and spent time with fans after each concert. There's been an obvious
effort to diversify the song selection and keep it "fresh". Even on repeat songs, he's made some changes
either with the tempo, singing softer/louder or pausing when you wouldn't expect it. Typical Hammill I suppose.

The opening act was a local singer/songwriter Terra Lightfoot who went over quite well aside from a dead
batter in one of her guitars..  http://www.myspace.com/TerraLightfoot
