A poet and rock artist, released up till now 27 solo albums, wrote music for
ballet, films and television and published two lyric books including ,
poems and short stories since his debut at the end of the sixties. During
the seventies he lead the advanced British rock group "Van der Graaf
Generator". This is Hammill's fourth visit to Israel. Hammill has a loyal
fans in Israel since his previous perfrormances that took place at Kolnoa
Dan
in the 80's and at the first Next festival in 1996. Peter Hammill returns to
Israel and will make his first performance in Israel during the "Piano
Entertainment" festival. Hammill will play piano and the violinist 'David'
Stuart will acompany him. Opening show: Eviatar Banai.
